The RM of Sherwood encompasses the City of Regina and includes a variety of industries from farming and manufacturing to tourism. Its heavy clay soils characterize the area as one of the richest farming pockets in the province.

Sherwood Industrial Park (SIP) Located north of Regina and home to one of North America's most successful steel companies, Evraz. SIP is a vibrant, growing, industrial park which includes agricultural implement manufacturers such as Brandt, Sakundiak, Kramer and Degelman, agricultural dealerships, construction contractors, trucking firms, and environmental friendly disposal of medical hazardous waste materials.
The Wascana Valley, meanders through the municipality and is an ideal setting for recreational/tourism related activities.
